What does a Holistic Personal Training approach look like?

Personal trainers help their clients achieve their fitness goals, whether it is weight loss, strength training, toning, increase in performance or increase in daily energy and vitality. While helping the client reach their personal goals, they also work to improve overall mobility, function of the physical body, and overall health management.

Each client's fitness level can be extremely different, as well as the needs of their bodies. In Homeopathy, Ayurvedic Medicine and Eastern Medicine, we understand that every single person is different and unique - which is why our fitness, nutrition and wellness approach needs to be unique to us. Using "cookie cutter" and mainstream programs do serve a purpose and can provide the results we are looking for. However, when your fitness regimen is catered to your unique energetic and physical body's blueprint, and your physical body's daily needs (training based on your daily life and career) - a client not only sees incredible long lasting results, they are more apt to continue maintaining the lifestyle changes after, and the program is specific to their current everyday lifestyle. 

At Back to Your Roots, we take an individualize and energetic approach to your fitness and nutrition and create plans that match your goals, needs, capabilities and lifestyle. We do everything with INTENTION – from the warmups, breathing techniques, nutrition designing, to the patterning of the sessions with the Personal Trainer.

 

Being an adaptive and functional trainer, we would use the platform of general physical preparedness as our baseline and ensure we hit the goals set out together based on the entire program.
 

Throughout the client fitness journey, we often weave in an Ayurvedic or a whole foods approach to nutrition. Sessions also include energy work like Reiki, client visualizations and breathwork throughout the sessions to help release trauma, connect with the body and engage with the muscles and movement patterns. 

Clients have seen massive success with this approach and continue to practice the daily habits instilled during our time together.

Fitness is for everybody - but everybody's fitness program should be designed for all the ebbs and flows, and seasons they go through.
